Farewell, Colorado DECA!
I would like to begin by thanking you, Colorado DECA, for affording me the opportunity of a lifetime to lead as your State President. I have enjoyed every minute that has come along with my term as an officer including meeting new friends, traveling to conferences, and even attending zoom meetings in a tie and gym shorts.
I would like to give a special thanks to Jamie Young, Sara Mossman, and Brad Peer for their guidance and countless hours dedicated towards the betterment of this state officer team and Colorado DECA as a whole.
Last but certainly not least, I give many thanks to my local advisor, Mrs. Randle. From taking a group of high school students through Times Square to organizing a community service initiative that garnered participation from 13% of our town’s population, Mrs. Randle spent countless hours towards bettering every single member in our extremely small chapter. She has been a crucial mentor throughout my term, and there is no way I would be where I am today without her support.
