About

Kate Jordan Little is a fifth-generation Coloradan born and raised in Denver. She is a Junior at Thomas Jefferson High School where she is active in numerous clubs, plays five varsity sports (gymnastics, cross country, swimming, diving and golf) and receives Platinum High Honors for her GPA. Outside of school, Kate is a competitive swimmer, enjoys skiing, paddle boarding, and volunteering. With more than 300 volunteer hours logged, Kate spends much of her extra time volunteering as an intern and liaison for District 4 Denver Councilwoman Kendra Black in the "Race and Social Justice Workgroup" as well as volunteering for Metro Caring Food Bank, Colorado Young Leaders and developing her "a little difference" community giving project. She works summers as a swim coach, a golf caddie, and a photographer for senior pictures. Kate is passionate about sustainability, photography, architecture, and everything DECA! Kate is currently representing Colorado DECA as the District Three State Representative. Kate’s favorite high school experiences so far are attending the DECA Western Region Leadership Conference and being awarded 2nd team All-state in swimming. *If needed to be written in first person, please let me know! Farewell, Colorado DECA!

The State DECA Conference is finally here! I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported me along this journey. I am so grateful to be a part of such a fantastic organization and to have worked alongside an incredible and talented State Officer Team. You all are strong leaders and I have learned so much from each of you.

Mom, Dad, and Molly, you have been such incredible supporters throughout the process of becoming and being a State Officer. You have inspired me to be the best version of myself, and have been such amazing role models. Thank you for everything, I love you so much.

Thomas Jefferson High School DECA and Mr. Nicolo, thank you so much for encouraging me to go after my goals and helping me achieve them. Thank you all for your unconditional support and lifelong friendships!

CO DECA DISTRICT THREE, it has been such an honor to represent such a phenomenal group of DECA students. Your collective passion and determination for DECA success is what motivated me to “Maximize my Momentum” as a State Officer! Thank YOU all for being an impressive force.
