Scholarships That Support Colorado’s Emerging Leaders

Colorado DECA offers several scholarship opportunities to support graduating members as they continue their education in business, marketing, entrepreneurship, and related fields. These awards recognize students who demonstrate leadership, dedication, and a commitment to personal and academic growth. Each scholarship provides financial assistance and acknowledges the hard work and achievements of Colorado DECA seniors. CBAM Post-Secondary Scholarship

The Colorado Business and Marketing Educators Association (CBAM) awards four $1,000 post-secondary scholarships each year to deserving high school seniors who have been active participants in DECA. These scholarships recognize student involvement, dedication, and achievement in Business and Marketing Education. In partnership with SupportFund, CBAM also offers an additional $1,000 scholarship to further support students as they continue their education beyond high school.

Colorado DECA Scholarship

The Colorado DECA Scholarship is available to currently active Colorado DECA senior high school members who plan to pursue a full-time two- or four-year course of study in marketing, entrepreneurship, finance, hospitality, or management. Applicants may attend any accredited college or university offering programs in these fields. This scholarship is merit-based rather than need-based, though applicants may choose to include a statement regarding financial need for consideration. All application materials must be submitted in full, and incomplete submissions will not be considered. Applications must be complete and legible to be reviewed.

Colorado DECA Memorial Scholarship

The Colorado DECA Memorial Scholarship is a $1,000 award established in honor of former Marketing Education and DECA Advisors who made lasting contributions to Colorado DECA, including Lyle Wood, Brent Davies, and Jim Tierney. This scholarship is open to currently active Colorado DECA seniors who intend to pursue a full-time two- or four-year degree in marketing, entrepreneurship, or management at an accredited institution. The award is merit-based and recognizes academic achievement, leadership, and involvement, though applicants may include a statement regarding financial need if desired. All required materials must be submitted in full, and incomplete applications will not be considered. Applications must be complete and legible to be reviewed.
