Teacher of the Year and New Teacher of the Year Award Nominations
The Teacher of the Year and New Teacher of the Year Awards, presented by CBAM, recognize Colorado educators who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and commitment to Business and Marketing Education and DECA. Nominees must be current Colorado Business or Marketing instructors who have made significant contributions across their classroom program, DECA chapter, and related activities such as co-ops or school stores when applicable.
Eligibility Requirements
- Teacher of the Year nominees must have taught Business Administration courses for five or more years
- New Teacher of the Year nominees must have taught for fewer than five years
- Nominees must submit a one-page description of their Business Administration program
- Three to four letters of support are required
All required documents must be submitted with the nomination. Incomplete or late submissions will not be considered. Applications must be complete and legible to be reviewed.
